As part of Queensgate Shopping Centre’s drive to reduce their environmental impact, they required a lighting upgrade of their ‘Red’ car park to enhance safety and energy efficiency. The existing lighting system was outdated and costly to operate, resulting in poor illumination levels. Ensuring the shopping centre’s car park remained well-lit was crucial to provide a safe and welcoming environment for visitors, especially during the night.
Trojan Lighting Solutions, known for their expertise in intelligent and sustainable lighting technologies, was chosen as the partner for this project. Leveraging their extensive experience, they proposed a comprehensive solution involving product selection, connectivity with a MyMesh wireless mesh network, manufacture, delivery and installation support. Rigorous end-of-line testing was carried out to ensure the system’s reliability and rectify an pre-installation issues.
Ahead of Schedule
The project was handed over two weeks ahead of the originally planned schedule thanks to the dedication and professionalism of the team and the collaboration with Savills, Mymesh, and AssistTec.
1,200 Assets in Six Weeks
The lighting project, which spanned just six weeks, witnessed the delivery, installation, and commissioning of approximately 1,200 assets.
