At Trojan Lighting, we’re continuously improving our processes to benefit both our clients and the environment. Following the successful introduction of plastic-free packaging, we’re excited to announce another step forward: switching to paper-based packaging tape. This change will eliminate over 30km of plastic tape from our production process annually.
As well as the plastic removed from our operations, this initiative is part of our broader commitment to sustainability:
- We are members of the Recolight WEEE compliance scheme, which supports the collection and recycling of waste lighting equipment
- Our HQ is powered by on-site solar energy, providing over 90% of our energy over the summer
- Our vehicle fleet is electric, further reducing our environmental footprint.
