Trojan Lighting Wins Make UK SME of the Region

Trojan Lighting has been named SME of the Region for the North West at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2025, recognising the company’s innovation, sustainable growth, and contribution to UK manufacturing.

Make UK represents thousands of manufacturing businesses nationwide, celebrating excellence in productivity, sustainability and innovation across every sector of British industry. The regional awards highlight organisations that are driving positive change through design, technology and leadership, with each regional winner now progressing to the national finals.

Trojan Lighting’s success in the SME of the Region category reflects its continued investment in UK-based design and production, as well as its pioneering work in remanufactured and intelligent lighting systems

As a regional winner, Trojan Lighting will now go forward to represent the North West at the Make UK National Awards and Gala Dinner, taking place on 29 January 2026 at Madame Tussauds in London. The national judging process will include a 30-minute interview with the Make UK panel, where Trojan will present the key achievements behind its success in the SME category.

“This recognition from Make UK is a major achievement for our entire team,” said Anthony Barrow, Managing Director at Trojan Lighting. “It reflects our passion for manufacturing innovation here in the North West and our focus on sustainable, intelligent lighting that supports the UK’s net-zero ambitions.”

The Make UK awards continue to be one of the most respected platforms for recognising excellence in British manufacturing, shining a spotlight on companies that combine technical expertise with forward-thinking environmental and operational strategies.
