We have formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant and have been awarded the Bronze level under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, we have made a public commitment to support members of the Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans and their families. The Covenant encourages employers to ensure that those who serve, or have served, are treated fairly and are supported in accessing employment and development opportunities.
The Bronze Award recognises organisations that actively demonstrate their commitment to the Covenant. For Trojan, this includes being supportive of employees who are reservists, veterans or families, promoting Armed Forces-friendly policies, and recognising the skills and experience that service personnel bring to civilian roles.
As a growing manufacturing business, we value the qualities commonly developed through military service, including teamwork, technical competence, problem-solving and reliability. Signing the Covenant and achieving Bronze status reflects an intention to build an inclusive workplace that recognises these strengths and supports long-term careers.
We will continue to develop our approach to supporting the Armed Forces community as the business grows, ensuring that commitments made through the Covenant are reflected in day-to-day practice.
