We have been shortlisted for Manufacturer of the Year under £25m at Insider’s Made in the North West Awards 2026.
The awards celebrate the strength of manufacturing across the North West, recognising businesses that are investing, innovating and contributing to the continued success of the sector. This year’s shortlist brings together manufacturers from across the region, covering everything from engineering and specialist manufacturing to food production and technology.
Over the past 12 months we’ve continued to develop our UK manufacturing capabilities, expanded the team and invested in new products and intelligent lighting technology. Our work increasingly combines the manufacture of high-performance LED luminaires with wireless controls, automated emergency lighting and connected building technology, helping clients reduce energy consumption while getting more from their lighting infrastructure.
The shortlist continues a successful period for the team. In 2025, we were named Manufacturing Business of the Year at the MIB Awards and SME of the Region – North West at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards, going on to represent the region at the national finals in London.
Anthony Barrow, Managing Director at Trojan Lighting, said:
“Being shortlisted alongside some excellent North West manufacturers is another great result for the team. We’ve grown considerably over the last few years, but we’ve always wanted to do that by continuing to manufacture here in the region, developing our own products and investing in people and technology. It’s great to see that recognised.”
We will now join the other finalists at the Made in the North West Awards 2026, where the winners will be announced on 1 October at the Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse in Liverpool.
