Trojan Lighting was engaged to deliver a complete lighting upgrade for North Kent Distribution Ltd (NKD), covering both warehouse and office environments. The aim was to reduce energy use, improve light quality, and implement intelligent controls for long-term efficiency.
NKD’s existing lighting system was energy-intensive, outdated and expensive to maintain. Following a full site survey and technical assessment, we proposed a new lighting scheme using high-efficiency LED fittings, all enabled with Mymesh wireless control technology. Our package included product supply, installation, commissioning and handover along with funding options to make the project cash-flow positive from day one.

Lighting Design & Planning
We delivered a full lighting design package, including floorplans, 3D visualisations and detailed calculation reports. These covered:
- Evaluation and luminaire heights
- Luminous flux and power per area
- Illuminance levels, uniformity, and diversity
- Pseudo colour diagrams and compliance references
This ensured the lighting met the operational and safety needs of both warehouse and office staff.
