Trojan Lighting took part in Insider Media’s roundtable, “Transforming Construction Through Advanced Manufacturing”, held in response to Liverpool City Region being named the first pilot region in a new £85m national drive to improve construction productivity. Stuart Aiken, our Marketing & Communications Director, represented the company at the discussion, which took place at The Titanic Hotel in Liverpool.
Our approach to manufacturing and intelligent lighting fits closely with the pilot and the topics discussed. Intelligent lighting cuts both costs and carbon, and the wireless control systems we use can also speed up construction. With less cabling and infrastructure to manufacture and install, buildings can be completed faster, and the spaces stay flexible for future use.
Construction productivity depends on manufacturers sitting alongside contractors, consultants and local government, and we welcomed the chance to contribute a lighting manufacturer’s perspective. You can read more about the roundtable on the Insider Media website.
